The Association Apiary
We have our own apiary which is in a warm protected site with plenty of room for demonstrations and a convenient storage shed for extra equipment. We encourage all our members to attend the sessions there, the beginners to learn practical manipulations and the experienced to impart their own ideas and wisdom.
The apiary sessions are held on the second Sunday of the month (May to September) at 2.15 pm.
If someone would like to attend an apiary session for the first time they should get in touch with the Apiary Manager for directions. We have a number of spare protective suits which can be made available for visitors and beginners.
